The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams meet Monday in NFL action at the LA Memorial Coliseum.

The Kansas City Chiefs look for their 10th victory of the season to inch closer to the top seed in the AFC. The Kansas City Chiefs have won five of their last six non-home games. Patrick Mahomes is completing 67 percent of his passes for 3,150 yards, 31 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Mahomes has three or more touchdown passes in seven of the 11 games this season. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce have combined for 1,678 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns while Sammy Watkins has 39 receptions. The Kansas City Chiefs ground game is averaging 117.6 yards per contest, and Kareem Hunt leads the way with 754 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Kansas City is allowing 24 points and 410.7 yards per game. Anthony Hitchens leads the Kansas City Chiefs with 80 tackles, Dee Ford has nine sacks and Steven Nelson has three interceptions.
The Los Angeles Rams look for their 10th victory of the season to inch closer to the top seed in the NFC. The Los Angeles Rams have won seven of their last eight non-home games. Jared Goff is completing 68.4 percent of his passes for 3,134 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions. Goff has two or more touchdown passes in six of his last eight games. Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods have combined for 1,689 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Todd Gurley II has 40 receptions. The Los Angeles Rams ground game is averaging 144.8 yards per contest, and Gurley leads the way with 988 yards and 13 touchdowns. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 23.1 points and 355.2 yards per game. Cory Littleton leads the Los Angeles Rams with 84 tackles, Aaron Donald has 12.5 sacks and John Johnson III has three interceptions.

The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Monday games, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in November and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The Rams are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Monday games, 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Chiefs are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 meetings. The under is 20-8-1 in Chiefs last 29 games in November.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been as consistent of any team this season and are outscoring teams by an average of 17.5 points since their loss to the New England Patriots. The Los Angeles Rams have had to work harder for their 9-1 record and three of their last four victories have been decided by five or less points. The Kansas City Chiefs have covered eight of their last nine games when an underdog of any kind. The Los Angeles Rams have failed to cover five of their last six games when a favorite of any kind. The Rams have been shaky at best defensively the last few weeks and most of their games are coming down to the wire where they could have easily been on the wrong side in some of them. The Kansas City Chiefs continue to steamroll teams with the amount of weapons they have, and the defense has allowed 21 or less points in four of their last six games. The Rams also suffered a major blow with the loss of wide receiver Cooper Kupp. We're simply getting free points with the better, healthier team. Give me the Kansas City Chiefs.

The latest chapter in the storied book of the NFL's “black and blue” division will be written this week when the Minnesota Vikings renew acquaintances with the Chicago Bears. With the NFC North lead at stake, the NFL felt it was necessary to “flex” this Sunday’s game between the Vikings (5-3-1) and Bears (6-3) from its original afternoon slot to "Sunday Night Football."Those who may not have been able to watch the Bears yet this season are in for a treat. They get watch a team that has shown remarkable improvement under new head coach Matt Nagy and are starting to think about a possible playoff berth. They’ll also get a good look at a Vikings squad that has claimed two of the last three division titles and fell one game short of a trip to last year’s Super Bowl. This is just the third division matchup for the year for either team as the Bears have gone 1-1 against NFC North foes while the Vikings are 1-0-1. It's still early to determine which team will rule the division, but with the Packers and Lions struggling, it could be down to a two-team race already. Both the Vikings and Bears feature strong defenses, talented offenses, and quarterbacks who are becoming the talk of the league. This one will be worth staying up for.

1. Kahlil Mack is back The Bears' top pass rusher (seven sacks) returned to the lineup after a two-game absence due to an ankle injury with a vengeance last week. Against Detroit, Mack had two sacks among his five total tackles, four of them being solo. He’ll be licking his chops to take on a Vikings offensive line that’s allowed six sacks in the last three weeks. Double-, or even triple-, teaming him will be a must as the Vikings cannot afford to let Mack put Kirk Cousins on the ground this Sunday night.2. Minnesota has a stout defense of its own
The Vikings' own style of defense has played a huge role in their success over the last couple of seasons. Minnesota has won four of its last five games, and in those four wins has held the opposition to an average of 16 points per game. The Vikings have also shown a knack for rushing the passer with 20 sacks over this five-game stretch. On the season, Minnesota is fifth in total defense (322.2 ypg),  11th in scoring defense (22.7 ppg), and has generated 14 total takeaways thus far. This will be one of the best defenses that the Bears have faced this season.
3. Quarterback battle
Mitchell Trubisky continues to grow before our eyes as Chicago's second-year signal-caller had his fifth 300-yard passing game of the season last week against the Lions. It was the fourth such effort this season, already a single-season franchise record. Trubisky has 2,304 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions to this point, while completing 65.5 percent of his passes. Minnesota's defense will serve as a good test of just how far the No. 2 overall pick of the 2017 draft has come under new head coach Matt Nagy's tutelage.

Chris Ash made some news in understated fashion following Rutgers' loss to Penn State.

When asked what gives him confidence the Scarlet Knights' offense will finally be productive in 2019 after three woeful seasons to start his tenure following Saturday's 20-7 loss to the No. 16-ranked Nittany Lions at HighPoint.com Stadium in Piscataway, Ash rattled off a number of reasons.

Among them: John McNulty will be back as offensive coordinator next year, which counts as a significant statement for a program that has had nine different offensive coordinators in as many seasons.

"We're going to have the same offensive coordinator coming back," Ash said in part. "We're going to be able to work a lot of the same concepts offensively in the off-season instead of installing another new offense, and that's invaluable."
The streak pre-dates Ash - it started with Greg Schiano and continued through the Kyle Flood era - but Ash has had his share of issues too. He hired McNulty in January after last year's offensive coordinator, Jerry Kill, was forced to retire after one year due to health issues. Ash's first offensive coordinator, Drew Mehringer, left for a position at Texas after the 2016 season.
McNulty had previously coached at Rutgers from 2006-08 and was the coordinator who started the streak when he joined the Arizona Cardinals as a wide receivers coach in 2009, starting a decade-long run in the NFL with four different teams before he returned to Rutgers earlier this year.

As long as Ash plans to retain him, it's hard to see McNulty leaving Rutgers on his own accord. McNulty's family moved to New Jersey after he took the job - something it had not done during his most recent NFL stop with the Los Angeles Chargers - and he has two more years left on his contract after this season paying him a combined $1.275 million.

McNulty is scheduled to make $650,000 next season - the highest salary for a coordinator in program history - and he would owe Rutgers a $200,000 buyout were he to break the d

Denver Broncos (3-6) at Los Angeles Chargers (7-2

NFL Football: Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 4:05 pm (StubHub Center)
The Line: Los Angeles Chargers -7 -- Over/Under: 46.5 See the Latest Odds
TV: CBS
The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers meet Sunday in NFL action at ROKiT Field at StubHub Center.

The Denver Broncos are coming off a bye week and could use a win after losing six of their last seven games. The Denver Broncos have lost three of their last four road games. Case Keenum is completing 63.6 percent of his passes for 2,400 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Keenum has thrown at least one interception in eight of the nine games this season. Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton have combined for 1,088 receiving yards and five touchdowns while Jeff Heuerman has 25 receptions. The Denver Broncos ground game is averaging 126.7 yards per contest, and Phillip Lindsay leads the way with 591 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Denver is allowing 23.7 points and 364 yards per game. Todd Davis leads the Denver Broncos with 67 tackles, Von Miller has nine sacks and Justin Simmons has two interceptions.
The Los Angeles Chargers look to stay in the AFC West division race while building on their six-game winning streak. The Los Angeles Chargers have won two of their three true home games this season. Philip Rivers is completing 67.3 percent of his passes for 2,459 yards, 21 touchdowns and four interceptions. Rivers has two or more touchdown passes in each of his last 10 games. Keenan Allen and Tyrell Williams have combined for 1,184 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Melvin Gordon has 36 receptions. The Los Angeles Chargers ground game is averaging 127.1 yards per contest, and Gordon leads the way with 672 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, Los Angeles is allowing 20.7 points and 356.6 yards per game. Derwin James leads the Los Angeles Chargers with 64 tackles, Melvin Ingram has 5.5 sacks and Desmond King has three interceptions.

The Broncos are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC West, 3-11 ATS in their last 14 road games and 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The Chargers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC West, 10-23 ATS in their last 33 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Broncos are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Los Angeles, 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the home team is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

The Denver Broncos have had an extra week to prepare, and while the losses are getting out of hand, four of their six losses have been decided by seven or less points. The Los Angeles Chargers will play their first home game since Week 5 and four of their seven victories have come by double digits. The Denver Broncos are 2-4-1 ATS in their last seven games when an underdog of at least seven points. The Los Angeles Chargers have split their last 10 games ATS when a favorite of at least seven points. Four of the last five meetings between the Broncos and Chargers have been decided by eight or less points. Games between AFC West teams are usually tight, and you have to like getting a free touchdown with a rested team. However, I question how the Broncos are going to score enough to keep up with the Chargers. Rivers is playing really good football, and the Broncos have scored 20 or less points in five of their last eight games, and that was with Demaryius Thomas. I'll eat the touchdown in a game the Chargers should cruise in.

Oakland Raiders (1-8) at Arizona Cardinals (2-7)

NFL Football: Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 4:05 pm (University of Phoenix Stadium)
The Line: Arizona Cardinals -5.5 -- Over/Under: 41 See the Latest Odds
TV:
The Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders meet up in the desert on Sunday in a show down of two of the league's weaker teams with draft lottery implications at stake.

The Oakland Raiders look for their first victory of the season on the road as they head into Arizona to do battle with the Cardinals in a game very few will be tuned in for unless you're involved in mock drafts and bottom feeder organizations. The Raiders have been a complete mess since Jon Gruden took over as they have sent some of the league's top young talent packing and are in line for a slew of draft picks as they anticipate their move from the Bay Area to Sin City in the coming years. Oakland has moved on from the likes of Khalil Mack, Amari Cooper, and Bruce Irvin this season and speculation continues around franchise quarterback Derek Carr who is just a few seasons removed from the Pro Bowl and signing on to be the team's signal caller of the future. The Raiders have played well against the Cardinals in recent memory though as they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 show downs against Arizona and while the Cards have been underachieving they look as if they're in better shape than the Raiders as Arizona has the pieces in place to stay competitive in the next few seasons. Oakland is 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and will be in tough to stay close with even a Cardinals side who hasn't been able to do much of anything this season,
Arizona has had to deal with a handful of injuries this season and as such they haven't had the year many expected of them as David Johnson and company haven't been able to stay competitive. The Cards have done well against the number though as they are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and are only modest home favourites here against a Raiders side who looks like a shoe in to land the top overall draft pick in the offseason. THe Cards will send Josh Rosen behind center and while he has had his struggles in his rookie season there doesn't appear to be anyone on the Oakland side of the defensive line who will be able to disrupt The Arizona passing game and that will allow Johnson to get rolling on the ground. This looks like a winnable spot for the home team and covering a light number with the best player in the game seems like a strong possibility.

THe Raiders are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after a loss and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 overall with the Cardinals while Arizona is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 at home and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games at home against a team with a losing road record. Arizona is not much better than Oakland but with David Johnson having his way here and Oakland looking thin all across the field look for the Cards to get it done and cover.
